Enjoy short walks on the property, winding through the forest, fynbos, and past a peaceful dam. Encounter local wildlife like bushbuck, boar, caracal, monkeys, and baboons, or catch glimpses of the Knysna Lourie as they swoop along the forest edge.
In the gardens one will find a trampoline and a large swimming pool complete with a slide.

Heaven tucked away in the valley. Beautiful surroundings, good value for money, feels very private and friendly host. Warm and homely feel about the place but also very spacious and light. Lots to do like table tennis, swimming, darts, games, braai, walk on the farm, the viewing deck and if you dont want to stay in then knysna is a stone throw away.

Caron’s place was better than I was expecting. The grounds are beautiful to walk around, and the view from the deck is exquisite in the afternoons and at sunrise. The kitchen was well-equipped and the place was very quaint. Caron generously left us some wood to make a fire as well. We weren’t adventurous enough to try the outdoor shower during winter, but the cottage has many little surprises around the corners. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay! Caron was friendly and helpful, and our stay was very peaceful.
